Her Dog is an Early Riser

by Dr. James W. Randolph on April 11, 2009 · 0 comments

Some people are night owls, some rise with the chickens. Dogs pick up on that. My first client of the day today is a lady with a long commute who rises at 4 AM. She owns two dogs, CC and Sophie. CC is a couch potato and night owl who will lie in bed until someone rousts her. Sophie, on the other hand, just can’t wait for the day to start, and won’t let her mom make coffee, go to the bathroom or begin any of her daily routine until Sophie’s had her share of early-morning attention.

That’s my kind of dog.

I’ll take a slurp over an alarm clock any morning.
