Moving Our Parents Update

by Dr. James W. Randolph on July 2, 2009 · 0 comments

My thanks to those who are following the story of moving our parents into assisted living. Their move is coming together well.

New carpet is in their apartment. My sister, Beverly, has purchased new furniture to match their new needs in their new, smaller space. It will be delivered Monday. The first delivery of their belongings from home will arrive Tuesday, and they will spend Tuesday night in their new pad.

A big thunderstorm hit while they were there to sign papers, so my sister and father decided to stay for lunch.

We found great comfort in his observation, “Everyone here is so happy.”

See you tomorrow, Dr. Randolph.
