Wife Brenda Update, July 20, 2009

by Dr. James W. Randolph on July 20, 2009 · 2 comments

Thank you to those of you who have followed my wife, Brenda’s, ordeal with her broken leg and arm. She is doing extremely well, considering she has three broken bones! She got a new cast for her arm today and a good report on her leg incision. Being in a rehabilitation setting is very different from being in the hospital-hospital. It’s work, work, work and each day they work her harder and longer. As always, the health insurance industry is in the driver’s seat, and they tell her when she will go home. We hope it’s soon.

On a canine note, I snuck our dog, Pearl, into the parking garage, then snuck Brenda into the parking garage and they had a nice reunion. Pearl and Brenda are both eager to be back home. There’s nothing like pet therapy to lift a patient’s spirits.

See you tomorrow, Dr. Randolph.

Just wanted you and Brenda to know I am still praying for her everyday and I do enjoy reading Becky Taylor’s updates too. God Bless
