Today has a ton of joy and a bit of sadness.
Today our newest granddaughter was born. She is perfect and beautiful and although she lives 12 ½ hours from us, through the magic of the Internet we were able to see her within minutes of her arrival.

We have sadness because of Brenda’s injury she is still unable to travel, so we won’t be able to see her in person for a while yet.
For those of you who have been following Brenda’s recovery you’ll notice that I haven’t given an update for a while. Very simply there has been little to say. She goes to physical therapy Monday, Wednesday and Friday and does extremely well. Her pain level is still unacceptably high at 6-7 most days, but there seems to be little to be done to reduce those numbers beyond the tincture of time.
Of course, there’s nothing like a baby to brighten a day and Itty Bitty, as we call her, has certainly done that.

See you tomorrow, Dr. Randolph.
Congratulations, she is beautiful and looks like Brenda did when she was a baby. Hope to get to see her soon along with the other little ones. We love y’all and tell Andy and Nan the same. Love, Barbie
Congratulations on your adorable and precious little bundle of joy! She is a beautiful baby, and I wish you many, many joyful years with your beautiful granddaughter! I wish Brenda a speedy and complete recovery from her injury.

Dear Jim and Brenda,
The baby is so precious. Congratulations to you both. I am still praying for Brenda and hope she will be better soon.
Love,

Awww!!! So adorable. Congratulations!
I just this a.m. sent an inquiry as to the progress of things – and at the same time was receiving your announcement! Give my love to Brenda!
