Ridgway, VMD, MS and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (DACVIM)has written an excellent article in the February, 2013, issue of Clinician’s Brief, a leading, peer-reviewed journal on veterinary medicine.  (I was going to summarize it, but found I couldn’t possibly deliver the topic as well as Dr. Ridgway has already done, so I got her permission to run it verbatim.)
